Ever since I can remember, I have loved dabbling in the creative, from art to writing to needlework. You name it, I’ve done it. I took art classes from the day I could pick up a paintbrush, played handbells (as dorky as that sounds–I was 7!), tried embossing and needlework, taught myself guitar, wrote music and stories (including helping to publish an amateur newspaper in 6th grade), taught myself how to knit and crochet, worked with clay, filled sketch books with drawings and doodles, scrapbooked, made gift baskets, and currently I’m working on sewing (and blogging!) among other things. Phew!
I’m always happiest when I’m creating. It’s always been an outlet to relieve stress and express myself. Now that I’m pregnant, I’ve gone over the edge I think. This little girl has given me even more motivation to expand my creative horizons, especially now that I have someone else to unleash my creativity on! While I was travelling, I got it into my head that I wanted to create designs to sew onto baby onesies and T-shirts. I had one idea for a shirt, then it just snowballed into more and more ideas, and now I’ve made 10 onesies in the course of 4 days.
Some I can’t post because they’re gifts, but here are some of the ones I’ve made so far! I’m thinking of selling them sometime soon, please let me know if you’re interested, I’d be happy to take requests! Each are designed and hand-sewn by me. (You’ll have to excuse the image quality, photography is one of those things that I’ll be getting into in the future
) I don’t know why it’s cutting off part of the image either

Made in Pittsburgh- this one has sentimental value
Like I said, I’ve made more too, I just can’t reveal them just yet! On a dorkier note, I also made Haley and I matching candycane scarves
Someone stop me.

I love your blog! I can’t believe I forgot you had one…
Haley is lucky to have such a creative, loving Mom to do these things for her. She’ll never forget it, it will make her childhood so special. Just think, one day you won’t only be dressing HER but her dolls too, lol. Love ya!
The onesies are too cute, I think applique is definitely your new talent
